At NutriCamp, your meals are your story. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe when you use the NutriCamp mobile app and related services.

1 Information we collect

To give you accurate nutrition insights and a smooth experience, we may collect:

• Camera and photos: NutriCamp needs camera and photo access so you can snap meals for analysis. Images are uploaded only when you scan them, and you can delete them at any time.
• Meal and nutrition history: The meals you log, your macros, XP, streaks, and Health Scores are stored to power your diary, calendar, and trophy shelf.
• Body profile (optional): Height, weight, activity level, and goals are used to compute your personal targets. You can skip or delete this at any time.
• Usage data: Anonymous analytics about which screens are used and what fails. No advertising tracking.

2 How we use your information

• Analyze food photos and return calories, macros, and ingredient sources.
• Track your day, month, streaks, XP, and trophies.
• Improve our AI recognition and Health Score over time.
• Respond to your support emails and feedback.

3 Data storage and security

Your data lives in encrypted Firebase services (Firestore, Realtime Database, and Cloud Storage). Photos are sent over HTTPS and stored under per-user permissions. We do not sell your personal data to third parties, ever.

4 Third-party services

NutriCamp uses OpenAI for vision-based food recognition, USDA FoodData Central for ingredient nutrition values, Firebase for backend infrastructure, and RevenueCat for in-app purchases. These providers process data on our behalf under their respective privacy terms.

5 Your choices

You can delete any meal, image, or your entire account from inside the app. Account deletion enters a 7-day grace period, after which all of your data is permanently removed from our servers. See the Delete Account page for the exact steps.

6 Changes to this policy

If we update this policy in any material way, we will surface the change in the app and update the date above. Continued use of NutriCamp means you accept the latest version.
